About Us

But we are not like those who turn away from God to their own destruction. We are the faithful ones, whose souls will be saved.

Hebrews 10:39 NLT

Pastor Patrick Steele talks about the christian growth process and it's link to the trials of this life.

After all of the blessings, and all of the good things he's done for me... I still find myself back in the place where I'll be asking if God is really good in this situation or not. Why? Because I've been stretched beyond where I was before. I've been stretched to the edge of my faith. I've been stretched to the end of my capacity to endure it on my own, to the point where I have to come to a place, at the very end where I'm just about to snap, where I learn to trust in God, and not in myself. Patrick Steele

Pastor Sean Todd talks about the cycle we go through as believers; from sinner to enthusiastic convert, to separatist, to activist, and hopefully back to enthusiastic evangelical.

The primary mission of the church today is not only to save the lost, but it's to seek them out. Sean Todd

The Cycle

The Cycle

The reason you and I can still exist in this relationship, this long distance relationship with Jesus Christ, through time and space, and even through difficult times in our life, is because of the experiential reality that the third person of the Holy Trinity has filled our hearts to overflow, and His presence there inhabiting us on the inside communicates to us indiscriminately, irresistibly, the love of God Himself. That's Good News!

The Invisible Man

Dylan Marshall talks about being world changers through the power of Jesus Christ within us.
I love just as much as the next person to be here on a Sunday morning, to be up here speaking, to be up here worshiping. I love that, but if that's where it stops, then we've got this all wrong.
Dylan Marshall

About Us

Ignite is a diverse multicultural Spirit filled worship experience. Our worship is lively and our teaching exciting and grounded in scripture. At Ignite, Jesus is central and grace and love our motivation in everything we do. We strive to develop and equip the believer in spiritual maturity to fulfill their purpose in the Kingdom of God, as well as create an environment that reaches out to those that have yet to experience the saving love of Jesus Christ. Formed in 2013, we are a new church plant, serving the Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and Milan areas, and we are excited to see where this adventure with God takes us. Although we are non-traditional in our expression, we are conservative in our theology. There is a place here for everyone. We invite you to join us in this amazing journey to serve God and one another.
